El Paso County School Districts
Educators and families moving to the area are often surprised to learn that El Paso County has 15 School Districts, varying in size, focus, and policies. Detailed information on each is available on the Colorado Department of Education website. As of 2019, all the districts are accredited, three (D20, D12, D38) with Distinction, and three (D11, D22, D60) with Improvement Plans.
